We had a nice and cool 4th of July this year. We actually wore jackets to watch the fireworks. You can't do that in Texas! We watched the fireworks in Lyman, WY and they didn't disappoint. They were going off right above us and it almost felt like they were going to fall on us. Ryan had fun burning his snakes (kiddie fireworks) before we left for the fairgrounds. He said they looked like poo and well I think he is right.
We were in charge of putting on a show for our family and here was our audience. 
Nate didn't put enough wait in the bottle and one of the bottle rockets shot toward Grandpa and the house! Ryan was running for his life. 
Daddy, you are naughty! Those were his exact words.

The morning of the 4th we took the kids to Mountain Home, WY to the parade. 
Ryan loved all the fire trucks and candy they were throwing at him.
Jackson loved watching from Daddy's shoulders
I loved the small town atmosphere, but I'm not sure if I could ever live in a town that small.
