So the first day of school has come again. It feels as though the summer flew by in record time. I was busy with residency and had a couple weeks of vacation that were great for us all. Ryan, Jackson, and Ella all went to Lauren's parents for nearly a month which took a fair chunk of the summer. We went to Logan and Lyman for a week which was great. That time flew by as well. My mom and I drove out with all three kids so that Lauren could fly to SLC. Jackson was just like I used to be and bawled the whole way to Lyman from Logan. He loves the ranch and being out in nature. Ryan had a blast fishing in the mountains. He will definitely be my little fishing buddy as time moves on. Jackson enjoyed it as well. He couldn't quite manage the pole and not casting so he was in charge of getting the fish after I caught them. He would grab the line and cautiously squeeze the fish until I could help him get it off the hook. It was great fun. We had fun and made some good memories. I would love to have a place out there where we could spend a lot of time. Really I would like to live there instead of Texas, but I have a contract to go back so I can't turn that down. It will be a great situation and great environment for our kids in school and church. They are growing up so fast it's hard to believe.
